Hey all! Been visiting friends for the past couple days and there are so many awesome (rust free) cars. No pics unfortunately but here’s the beach.
I made a comment about all the Tacomas I have seen and my gf said, “um...tacos. Duh.”
And $kay, just saw a GT in the wild. Had a mild freak out in the back seat while my gf and friends were just like “you OK?”

I’ll be going there over Labor Day weekend! I can’t wait. San Diego is the best.
Whereabouts are you staying?
Also, I’m sure you friends know the good places to go. But if you haven’t been yet, here are a few places I’d highly recommend going to:
-Tacos El Gordo (Best street tacos ever)
-Bull’s Smokin’ BBQ (Awesome brisket, and be sure to try the mac-n-cheese)
-South Beach Bar & Grill does some really good oysters on the half shell and pretty good fish/shark tacos

Be sure to pick up after yourself at the beach.
Wear plenty of sunscreen (I myself just failed at this and am now going through “Hell’s Itch”).
If you’re coming in from Arizona, please stop driving immediately as you’re just awful at it.
If you want to see some nice cars, go to La Jolla. Besides what you might see on the streets, you’ll also find Symbolic Motors and the Ferrari/Maserati dealership.

I believe we’re in Vista.
We hit the Zoo and Balboa park yesterday, beach the day before for some body surfing, Disneyland today, kayaking and hiking later in the week.
there are dietary restrictions in our group but we’ve had some great food so far with more to come. Birthday celebration for me on Thursday!

Yup, yup, nope, yup and yup! I was actually born in Southern California, though near LA, so this is a bit of a homecoming. Also, birthday Thursday!

We were just there in June. Stayed in a decent hotel in Chula Vista called Hercor, one of those super modern type hotels. Definitely would stay there again. Just don’t be like my partner; make sure you take your phone OUT of your pocket before going in the ocean.

Sweet! Well have fun!
I can’t wait to be in Ocean Beach. Taking the gf for her first time to the west coast, and hoping to convince her that she needs to move to San Diego after med school. haha

Haha...it was my gf’s first time here so I brought a gopro to the beach for the first dip in the Pacific. Then she took some video and got demolished by a wave. It was terrific haha.
